Kanye West tops the numbers for most Grammy nominations this year with a whopping seven. It comes as a surprise to many that he passed both Adele and Lady Gaga in numbers, but a hip-hop star leading the way is not new… Don’t forget that last year’s leader of the pack was Eminem. Kanyeis up in only one major category, though (Song of the Year), where he is joined with Adele, Bruno Mars, Mumford & Sons,and Bon Iver.

The six nomination crew includes Adele, Bruno Mars, and Foo Fighters, while Lil Wayne and Skrillexcome close with five. Lady Gaga comes in with just three noms, but one of them includes Album of the Year for Born This Way, where she’s up against Adele (21), Foo Fighters (Wasting Light), Bruno Mars (Doo-Wops & Hooligans), and Rihanna (Loud).

With so many different artists and so much variation in taste, there is always bound to be a perceived snub of some sort. We’re seeing just a little bit of Katy Perry (despite cranking out 5 Number One singles from her Teenage Dream album), Drake, and Foster the People. No Britney in the Dance Recording category (which she once won for “Toxic”), despite having one of the year’s biggest radio hits with “Until the World Ends” and three Top Ten hits off one album for the first time in her career history. No Beyoncé for R&B album, despite a high rating for her album 4. Gaga pulled out original hits left and right and only has three nominations. Some even think Kanye should have been up for even more categories, having both his solo album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy as well as the mega collaboration with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, to choose from. 

Another interesting category this year is Best New Artist — This one is bound to be competitive, with an extremely eclectic mix; throw in the adored Nicki Minaj as a candidate and it gets even more exciting. This category’s noms also include some country with The Band Perry, dub step electro withSkrillex, indie folk with Bon Iver, and R&B/rap with J. Cole. Quite a talented and diverse group! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Sara Leal has suffered SO much ever since she thought it best to go public with the extramarital affairs of a Hollywood actor.

Ashton Kutcher's former fling regrets it with a passion, saying:

It was insane. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It might have seemed like I was asking for it, but I wasn't. My dad wouldn’t even talk to me, and I got a lot of disturbing phone calls, even from my friends' parents.

I got fired from my job. I am no longer friends with my best friend who was my roommate because it caused so many problems and I had to move out. I wasn’t working for two months, and I only just started working three weeks ago. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I don’t watch television and I read very few magazines. It never crossed my mind that he was married. But then he said he was separated, which still doesn’t make things okay, but I wasn’t thinking clearly. He was a good looking guy and it was stupid.

When people say to me 'I can’t believe you did that' I want to say back that most 22-year-old girls in my position would have done the same thing.

Well at least she can admit her mistakes!

We're sure it would be tempting for anyone if offered hot seXXXy time with an A-lister, but c'mon… tabloid subscriber or not, how could she NOT know they were still married??

A couple as big as them, if a divorce were to happen, everyone would know….which is exactly what happened….thanks in part to Sara!

When she’s not strutting her stuff on stage and selling a gazillions records–Rihanna loves nothing more than to sit at home and tweet, tweet, and tweet some more.

RiRi, who is currently single, split with Chris after he was charged with assault and making criminal threats towards her in March 2009, which forced her to pull out of a performance at The Grammys.

Worryingly, RiRi, 23, also tweeted last week: “I know he messed up, but let a real n***a make it right!” – could she be giving Chris another chance? Say it ain’t so!

She later added mysterious messages to her Twitter feed that had more than a hint of sadness. She wrote: “She look like a star, but only on camera, only on camera,” and “U hate bein alone, well u aint the only one!”

We all know RiRi likes a drink or two, so let’s hope this was a case of drunk tweeting. But it’s not the first time either RiRi or Chris have made reference to their acrimonious split on the Twittersphere.

This year alone she’s gone from black to red to blonde to lavender, and now, she’s switched back to blonde, debuting the look Saturday on SNL.

Perry’s colorist, Rita Hazan, loves her latest look. “She wanted to do something different — an easy, effortless honey blonde,” she tells PEOPLE. “She’s having fun with her hair color now, which I love.”

The star also chopped several inches off of her hair last week, rocking what Hazan calls “a really edgy bob.” To complement the cut, she left the ends of Perry’s hair “a little bit darker” to give her some depth. “We didn’t want it too solid or boxy,” she explains. “She has to work something that’s cool.”

Though Perry’s “dream shade” was the lavender she wore all summer, Hazan says she was ready for a change. “That was high maintenance, it fades really fast,” she admits. In fact, thepinky-blonde look Perry sported a week ago was just the result of her color fading. But Hazan does admit that the initial change from blonde to lavender was “genius. It worked with her skin tone, too.”

Constant color changes can be pretty harsh on the hair, but Hazan says Perry is great about at-home conditioning treatments. “I know she does them, because she always calls me and asks me to send her more product,” Hazan jokes. “She takes it seriously because she likes to keep her hair healthy. It doesn’t just stop at the salon — it has to continue at home, too, and she understands that.”

While Perry is seemingly giving her hair a break and enjoying her time as a blonde, Hazan doesn’t see the color lasting for too too long. “I think this will stick for a few months at least,” the stylist says. “But she’s Katy Perry — she can do anything at any moment.” Tell us: What do you think of Perry’s latest hair hue?

Here it is … PROOF Lindsay Lohan can still act … because the actress hit the beach like she didn't have a care in the world Sunday … hours after someone jacked $10k out of her purse.

With her Playboy spread officially released online, Lohan showed off her physique in a tiny bikini … that couldn't quite tame her breasts.

TMZ broke the story … Lohan freaked out Saturday night when her purse went missing at a house party … a purse which contained her ID, passport and $10k in cash.

The purse was eventually returned … minus the money.  Would you be smiling?

Talent: The album, which features 12 new songs, was released last Monday

Some of the proceeds from the album will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, set up in her name.

Winehouse displaced Olly Murs, the 2009 X Factor finalist, who topped the chart from The Official UK Charts Company last weekend with In Case You Didn't Know.

He slipped to number four, with Michael Buble's Christmas remaining at number two, and Heaven by Rebecca Ferguson entering the chart at number three.

Rihanna's Talk That Talk slipped from three to five.
Murs moved up a place in the singles chart to take the number one spot with Dance With Me Tonight.

The X Factor 2011 finalists, joined by former boyband contestants One Direction and JLS, slipped a place to number two with their cover of the 1970s Rose Royce classic Wishing On A Star.

Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) by Lloyd featuring Andre 3000 and Lil Wayne entered the chart at number three, while We Found Love by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris and Good Feeling by Flo Rida each dropped a place, to numbers four and five.

Sixth place saw another new entry, 5 O'Clock by T-Pain, Wiz Khalifa and Lily Allen, while Paradise by Coldplay moved up from number 12 to number seven.
